Unity - the state of being united or joined as a whole. John 17: 20 - 23 says "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,  that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—  I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Unity is the string that ties our other three values together: excellence, stewardship and relationships. We as a staff, wan't to be unified in how we are serving our community. We want to be unified in our mission, understanding what we are doing, why we are doing it and how we are doing it. Not individually but together. They say if you want to go fast go alone.. but if you want to go far go together. Our staff works together, towards a common goal, to serve our community, nation and our world. We believe that our impact will be that much greater if we are serve together. We share common goals, communicate with each other, lift each other up, hold each other accountable and practice healthy conflict resolution.
