We believe that the performing arts hold a very special place in modern day ministry. This is because the performing arts have the ability to break down emotional and mental barriers as the viewer is exposed to the power of God as demonstrated in movement and music. The arts have the unique God given ability to convey passion and cultivate emotions in such a way that convicts an individual to respond to the message they have witnessed.
We believe that the performing arts are a powerful way to worship our God and to showcase his's creativity and artistry. Within the realm of performing arts lies an enormous opportunity to expose others to God's character without causing someone to become defensive, withdrawn, or resentful. Reverent Rhythms is a collaboration of performers who proudly worship our Lord and Savior with the gifts and talents He has blessed them with. Reverent Rhythms unashamedly proclaims the good news of Jesus Christ!
Reverent Rhythms provides an alternative venue for believers to invite others into community, to watch, participate, or to discuss the Gospel and content of a performances or class devotionals. Most importantly we dance to bring praise to God. All mediums in which we do this are with the purpose to bring others into a personal relationship with God.
Psalms 30:11-12
"You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise you forever."
Psalms 149:3-4
"Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp.
For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory."
